Borasu Pass Trek
As soon as I learnt about a high altitude trek to Borasu Pass. I was eager to be part of this adventurous trek. I was confident about arrangements since I had successfully done a High Altitude trek Pin Parvati in year 2011 with Summiters. I signed for Borasu Pass in Gharwal - Kinnaur Himalayas through Summiters in Sept 2016. Mr Vishwanath led our group of 5 with his immense expertise in high altitude trekking. We achieved the fete in great style, maneuvering some of the tough and scary crevasses, snow fields and huge and fragile moraine slopes. The meadows, slopes and the streams all along the trek made us feel heaven. Many thanks to Summiters and Vishwanath for making our trek memorable for life. I wish I undertake such treks every year.

Its a high mountain pass trek and I believe this should be considered to be one of the most difficult trek given the nature of terrain. Everyday used to be a new challenge, and one needs not only physical fitness and few high altitude glacier trek experience but also to be mentally strong. Not only that, the expedition also require a capable team and we got really knowledgeable guide who knows in an out of the glacier/region and good support staff. It is almost impossible to cross Khatling glacier without a good guide as the glacier is heavily infested with small to big crevasses all over the place.
For Summiters, I would say - "its worth the money we spent". I think , personal interaction with him gave us confidence. I found a good organizer and thank Vishwanath for arranging everything as it was well organised right from our starting point to end. I would definitely like to plan more treks of similar nature in future with Summiters.

It was a very memorable and breath taking trek. Made loads of memories and enjoyed each and every bit of 13 long days. Everything was managed and arranged really well. The Instructors took really good care of us and never made us feel left out. They filled us with confidence and motivated us to reach OSLA. They shivered but never let us shiver in the cold. A Parent - Child relationship was noticed. The only disappointment is that we couldn't reach the summit. But we did have a good time at Osla. The view from there was breathtaking *_*. I don't have words to describe the feeling. On a whole everything went smooth and good.

Belligundi - A Perfect Skip to the boring routine. Its been an amazing experience being to Belligundi for a short trip of 2 days. The awesomeness started with the hospitality we received at Kattinkaru and the well maintained homestay that was provided. Kattinkaru being in the thick of Malnad provides the much needed freshness and serenity for minds that need a break from the city rush. The Malnad cuisines which were served were nothing less than the best I ever had. Since we had been to Belligundi in the dry season of March, we planned to get beneath the waterfalls. The deciduous forests, the thick shrubs and the trail of the water flow which you get ever now and then add to the adventure of the trek. This was the longest trail-less stretch which I had ever done before and it was worth every penny. Adventure, Scenery, Peace, Wild everything you want from a forest trek, you get here. The first sight of the waterfall will give your breath a skip and being able to stand under the waterfall for a refreshing bath is the best part. An add on to all the above is that, Belligundi is still not much commercialised and you hardly find any other trekking troops around you which provides you the much needed privacy. The nature is in its purest form and no signs of any pollution you find around, the same might change after couple of years once it might get commercialised. Sooner the visit, the better it is !! Enjoyed it thoroughly.. Thanks for all the hospitality we received from Summiters.. Cheers..!!

Buran Ghati Pass Trek
Would like to thank you Vishwanath of Summiters for excellent organisation of trek. This being my first trek, it was an awesome experience with the team of trekkers and people who helped us for making it happen. To start with the stay in the village was a very pleasant experience which showed how people live happily with minimal things in life, people are aware of outer world they are connected with TV, mobile and Internet. Second and third day was small trek watching mountains and valleys, and experiencing the extremely cold weather. Trek to Chandra nahan lakes 1, 2 3 and 4 was the best scenic place with crystal clear water, clear sky, awesome mountain. the nature is impeccably clean, no pollution of any sort, fourth day climbing Buran ghati Pass was exciting with walking over big stones, sand rubble with gravel stones, and reaching the top of mountain, most difficult part of the trek was climbing down which needs more concentration and energy, it was an excellent team with whom i trekked, and i have to tell this is my best holiday ever.

Vellarimala - Vavulmala
Totally off beat, untrodden wherein we had to make our path in the thick vegetation with a machete, very arduous trek but exciting, the food provided was basic, it was ultimate –Tapioca and chilled freshly made buttermilk from streams flowing topped it all..!
Great sunset.! Mesmerazing views of Masthakapara, Chembrapeak and Vavulmala , this trek was one of the best western trek I had done so far, kudos to Vishwanath….!!!

Belligundi Waterfalls Trek
This was my second trek with Summiters.Last year I went to Kudremukh and this time to Bellegundi Waterfalls. Our guide Mr Vishwanath was very helpful and it a memorable experience altogether.
In previous trek to Kudremukh I suffered from sprained knee joint while returning Vishwanath accompanied me till the last step though it was dark, was very courageous and was always motivating . It was only because of him I completed the trek successfully.
I look forward to complete more treks in the coming years and would always like the Summiters group to guide me and my fellow friends.

Kagbhushandi Tal Trek
This is not only a trek , but a unique experience by itself. It combines the best of the Himalayas incorporating astounding beauty with all of natures pristine elements , at sometimes or the other. On the other end of the spectrum, it tests individuals Physical and mental strength to the maximum keeping you on the edge – no pain ; no gain.!.In all a sense of exhilaration and achievement is tempered by a modest gratitude to the elements who were kind to us and organisers who were the guiding force at the times….!

Kagbhushandi Tal Trek
Kagbhushandi Tal is a long and Strenuous trek with little material available about it to read. Entire trek takes one through alpine meadows, countless boulders, snow fields and involves ascending to a altitude over 15,000ft and plunging into deep valleys. All in all not a trek for beginners, but one that can be enjoyed thoroughly by experienced trekkers backed by a team none other than Summiters..!
